We are a local family owned and operated small business on Georgia Hwy 400 in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.  We offer a variety of goods and services related to the gun, jewelry and pawn industries.  Our freindly staff are trained professionals.  Competitive pricing on new merchandise and outstanding value in used merchandise are our goals.

We have a few distict areas of services and goods.

The first is Jewelry.  We carry a wide selection of new and used jewelry.

We are always buying used jewely by offering fair prices.  We buy any gold or platinum jewelry for cash.

Related to Jewelry are our precious metals services.  We offer gold bullion at reasonable prices and are always buying bullion and related products at reasonable prices.  We always operate in complete confidence and deal in cash at the customer's request.

Next is our main business which is Guns and Gun related products.  We currently stock over 1800 guns for sale.  We have staff that are current military, ex-military and ex-law enforcement that are experienced in virtually all aspects of the gun business. Staff has over 100 years of combined gun business experience.  We carry a full line of Law-enforcement and Military style firearms and accessories to go with them.  We also stock many popular hunting guns and hand guns.  We have all the latest lights, lasers, scopes, rails, holsters, ammunition and the experience to help you make and informed decision on your hardware.  We can do simple component installation to popular current military rifles.

We recently acquired our SOT license.  We are now offering Short barrelled rifles and supressors to customers in our area.  We can also do Class III transfers.  Let our experienced staff help you find the right accessory for you.

We carry a large assortment of surplus military rifles and ammunition.  We always have 7.62x39, 7.62x54, 5.56mm, 7.62mm by the case, among others.  Almost always available is our constant showroom special 91 nagants 7.62x54 Rifles with accessories for $99.

We have staff that are experts in rare and collectible guns and accessories.  From Cannons to Winchesters, to Civil War uniforms, we employ experts on site.  Don't be afraid to bring your gun-related antiques to our pawn shop.  Because we have experienced personnel available, we can offer you a reasonable amount for your goods.

We offer the latest in hunting and sporting firearms.  We stock reloading supplies and have staff that are experience and can advise you.

How a pawn works and how to decide if you need to pawn or sell your item:

In Georgia, a pawn is an agreement for one party to loan money on collateral presented (or otherwise secured by the lender) for a 30 day period.  At, or up until the end of the pawn period, the borrower can pay back the principal and the interest to reclaim the secured collateral.  If the period is close to ending and the borrower does not choose to reclaim their collateral, they can pay the interest which buys another 30 day pawn period.

Our standard pawn rates are:

25% per month for the first 3 months.

12.5% per month thereafter.

For a $100 loan, the Reclaim amount before the end of the 30 day period would be $125.00

To buy another 30 day period would be $25.

We are interested in Pawning almost all the same goods we are interested in buying.  The key question when presenting items is whether the customer would like to sell or pawn the item.  You, as the customer must decide whether you A: Want it back and B: Whether you are likely to have the resources to get it back.  We automatically pay more for items when we purchase them because we don't have to wait as long to be able to sell the item to recoup our money.  For instance we might offer to pawn an item for $100 but offer to buy the item for $125 (example only.) To pawn or sell most goods, please visit us at our store location during normal business hours.  To make an appointment to buy, sell or pawn big ticket items in complete confidence call during normal business hours and ask for Paul, Matt, Derek, Shawn in that order.  Rates are negotiable for large ticket items.

We offer gun transfer services.  You can buy a gun from anywhere in the U.S. and have it transferred to our shop for pickup.  We charge a flat $25 fee.

We are experienced and always interested in collections of rarities.  It never hurts to have as many offers as one can get.  Bring us your collection in full confidence for a pawn or sell cash settlement.  If you can't bear to part with it, a pawn with allow you the cash you need with the opportunity to get your collection back.  On the other hand, selling your collection will get you more cash.

Especially wanted are collections of:

Guns, any amount, any type including Class III Weapons (machine guns, etc.).  We can quickly evaluate any given collection and make a reasonable cash offer.

Jewelry, any amount, any fine type (gold&platinum), Our in-house formulas make selling your fine jewelry quick and painless.

Coins, Graded and ungraded.  We have experience buying and selling rare coins.  We pay reasonable rates for graded and ungraded, gold coins, silver coins, and gold and silver bullion.  No amount too large or small.  We can quickly detemine fair market value and make you a cash offer.

Rare Currency like Federal Reserve Notes, National bank notes, Civil War Notes, National Currency, Obselete notes, Large notes, small notes, etc.  If it is U.S. Currency, we would like to make you an offer.

Civil War collections.  Currency, uniforms, swords, firearms, accoutrements, cannon, dug items, bonds, diaries, letters, and anything else related to the War of Northern Agression.  We have staff that are familiar with current pricing and rarity that would be happy to evaluate your collection.

Military Collections.  We are buyers of military collections including but not limited to Vietnam, WW1, WW2, Spanish American war, Indian wars, or any other US involved war.  We are especially interested in U.S. and German items.

ODD Collections:  If you have a collection of items you deem valuable, we would be happy to talk to you.  We have been known to buy almost anything if we think it is a good deal for seller and buyer.  Things like: Tobacco related, antique signs, fine antiques, antique furniture, metal banks, knives, Taxidermy, Fishing related, Hunting related, Cars, Motorcyles, etc.  NOT dolls, beanie babies, and the like.

Whole House Service:  If you need to move quick and need cash for your stuff NOW, we can send someone to evaluate your situation and make a cash offer on everything you own.  Cars, Tractors, Farm equipment, Heavy equipment, Electronics, appliances, four wheelers, boats, fishing gear, etc. are goods we would be interested in purchasing.  We pay in CASH.

Items of interest list

This is a brief list of items we are interested in Buying for Cash or Pawning (Loaning money).  Most of these items can be evaluated, a value determined for, and a deal struck on during normal business hours.  An appointment is recommended for more unusual or higher value ($thousands).

Jewelry: All Precious metal jewelry including Platinum, Gold, Palladium, Rhodium and Silver.  New, used, old or broken.  Chains, wedding bands, engagement rings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, broaches, etc.  We are interested in ALL amounts from small to large and our rates are highly competitive.

Diamonds.  We have a fulltime certified Gemologist on staff and deal in diamonds of all sizes.

Watches: Rolex, Etc.

Guns:  We are interested in buying all guns, Old and New, except for NFA weapons. (we can refer you to a NFA dealer if needed.)  No collection too large or small.  This includes but is not limited to:

Modern guns: Bolt Action, single shot and semi auto rifles and shotguns.  Military guns such as AR-15s, AKs, SKS, FAL, HK91, Sniper rifles, 50 BMGs, etc.

If it is not listed here and it is still a gun, we still buy it.

Gun Related: Gun Safes, cabinets, racks, Unused Ammo of all ages, used or new scopes, range finders, barrels, parts, reloading supplies, holsters, straps, cases, etc.

Coins, Rare Notes, Bullion: We are interested in Coins and coin collections, graded or not.  Also Large size notes, Civil War notes, silver and gold certificates, and any other rare currency also collections of the same.  We pay top rates for bullion bars and rounds of gold, silver or platinum.  No quantity too small or large.  Please make an appointment for a large collection.

Motor Vehicles: We are interested in buying or pawning: Motorcycles, ATVs, 4 wheelers, Golf carts, Boats and boat motors,  Utility Farm vehicles, Tractors, Farm tools,  Trailers of all kinds, Scooters, Go Carts, etc.  We must hold the collateral if pawned (like a regular pawn).  We also sometimes buy Cars but we no longer do car or title loans.

Yard Equipment: Chainsaws like Stihl, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Echo, Poulan, etc, Mowers, trimmers, tillers, chippers, etc.

Electronics: Flat Screen TVs of any size, XBOX 360, Wii, PS3, Hi-end stereo components and speakers.

Military Antiques: Display ordnance, Knives, Swords, Bayonets, Guns, Uniforms, Vehicles, Cannons.  Revolutionary War, 1812 War, Civil War, Indian Wars, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam.

Whole House Service: If you have an estate to dispose of or need to liquidate the entire contents of your dwelling, we will be happy to talk to you.  You can save the hassle of an estate auction or sale by dealing directly with the owner of a reputable local resale establishment, 400 Jewelry & Loan.  (we will even buy the property depending on price.) Most items can be brought by the store for immediate cash by Loan or sell.  If you do have items worth several thousand (or more) dollars, and you would like to make an appointment, please call and ask for Paul.
